The aim of this is course is to develop the participants’ awareness to the importance of developing children’s emotional intelligence and the different tools and strategies that can be used to achieve this. This course is enriched with practical ideas and real life success stories.

- Defining emotional intelligence
- Introducing the components of emotional intelligence
- Discussing the importance of emotional intelligence
- Introducing different tools and strategies to develop children’s emotional intelligence, such as, self awareness activities, reflection exercises, storytelling, drama, poetry, art and music.
- Monitoring children’s progress using observation tools, discussion groups and different kinds of checklists.
